This place is great. Everyone was so nice and the doctor didn't instantly suggest the most expensive treatment. A plus in my opinion.

Sad to say that while the staff here is amazing, I give up. 3 times now I’ve gotten there at 7am to make sure we can be seen. Every time, we get turned away because they have too many surgeries scheduled. This is NOT a walk-in clinic. Again, staff is amazingly, but maybe the powers that be should consider a new business model. Either do general surgeries or walk-ins. I also understand that clearly they are busy enough to not be concerned with losing patients, but Im sad to go. Brought my son’s puppy in for a possible UTI. We received extremely quick and thorough care. All of the staff was friendly and helpful. I’m am extremely impressed! May 31 Came back with our pup and older dog as well today and saw Dr Carol. She is AMAZING! Sat right on the floor with my girls and talked through everything. Wait times were reasonable and staff was once again extremely friendly and helpful.

I took my dog here on Friday after having her first litter 4 weeks ago, had a fever and 1 engorged nipple. Brought her in because my normal vet didn’t have openings and she was prescribed antibiotics that prevented her from nursing which made matters worse. Dr. Beck advised to spay her immediately after saying she couldn’t have another litter due to mastitis and made it sound like if she didn’t get on this antibiotic it could turn urgent very quickly and this was the best option knowing she had 4 week old puppies at home that needed her care. Mind you no tests were ran and from my understanding now there was absolutely no signs of mastitis which is what was being treated. Through the weekend she was in so much pain because she couldn’t nurse and all of her nipples became so engorged. I ended up taking her to Tualatin Emergency Vet Sunday night and they kept her overnight, ran the appropriate tests and had me discontinue the prescriptions immediately noting that the best thing for her to do is nurse the puppies! Mind you at Oregon City I had to pay $430 and tualatin total came to $215 for better more complete care. The vet at Tualatin was confused by her recommendation for antibiotics that would prevent a new mother from nursing as well as the advise to spay her - stating this was unnecessary. Please save your time and money and go to Tualatin Emergency Vet. When I called to talk to the staff about the issue I was dismissed and told “there no reason to continue this conversation.” Very very disappointing. update: the response is inaccurate. I never received a phone call until I called to talk to them about their response to my google review. I spoke with Emma, who was kind but the management was only willing to refund the exam fee, not the over prescribed medication. See image for tualatin vet telling me to discontinue all meds 3 days after they were prescribed so my dog could nurse her puppies and get back to good health. This doctor needs to retire. My dog is now back to normal health and doing great. Highly recommend Tualatin Emergency vet for any emergency needs. Final update: finally resolved the issue 8.29 Spoke with location manager Jack and she was able to help resolve the issue and partially refund the visit. I’m thankful she did what she could to make things right. Making this a 2-star instead of 1-star for the resolution.
